Brief Biography:
Narendra Singh Dhakad is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Chair of AI Processor Design, Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, with Prof. Hussam Amrouch.
He has submitted his Ph.D. thesis entitled "Edge AI Aware Design of SRAM Based In-Memory Computing Architecture" at Nanoscale Devices, VLSI Circuit & System Design Research Group of Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India, under the supervision of Prof. Santosh Kumar Vishvakarma.
He was an Assistant Professor in the Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Department at Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, India, from June 2018 to November 2019. He worked as a Lecturer in the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department at Indira Gandhi Government Engineering College, Sagar, from July 2017 to May 2018.
He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Indira Gandhi Government Engineering College, Sagar, in 2015 and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) from Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, in 2017 under the supervision of Dr. R. C. Gurjar.
He has received the prestigious India’s Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellowship (OVDF) 2022 at Purdue University, USA, with Prof. Kaushik Roy. He also received the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India Fellowship during my Ph.D. and M.Tech. He was the Founding Co-Chair of the IEEE CASS Madhya Pradesh Section and Founding Chair of the IEEE CASS Student Chapter at IIT Indore from December 2022 to November 2023. He was the Founding Head of Outreach Activity and Webmaster of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) Student Chapter at IIT Indore from March 2021 to October 2021. He reviews IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing (CSSP), Springer and International Symposium on VLSI Design and Test (VDAT).
Narendra's hometown is Shivpuri. Shivpuri is a city and a municipality in Shivpuri district located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is in the Gwalior Division of northwest Madhya Pradesh. The city is a tourist destination in the monsoon season, with many waterfalls and lakes. The city is known for its greenery and forests and as the former summer capital of the Scindia family.
